The Head of Local Government Service, Ing. Dr. Nana Ato Arthur on the 2nd of February, 2023 paid the workers of Akuapim South Municipal Assembly a surprise visit. He was accompanied by Madam Felicia Dapaah who is the Chief Director of the Local Government Service.
His purpose for visiting was to check how the office is functioning, introduce the new Chief Director in the person of Madam Felicia Dapaah and more importantly check staff attendance. He went ahead to say such unannounced visit is habit he and the chief director are plans on adopting. Mrs. Dapaah advised the staff to work diligently and to leave good footprints wherever they find themselves.
Ing. Dr. Nana Ato Arthur also advised the staff to always remember professionalism which is in their code of conduct. He cautioned the staff to desist from absenteeism and lateness to work. He also encourage the staff to be cordial and to treat each other equally, no looking down on some departments and units.
Some questions were asked by some staff to which the head of local government service answered to the satisfaction of the staff. He left afterwards to continue with his daily works.
