The third batch of YouStart beneficiaries from the Akuapem South Municipal had their official municipal wide training which began on the 20th May, 2024. The Basic stage was done in three batches with the first two held at the Methodist Youth Centre and the last at the Presbyterian Church in Pokrom.
In all, 70 Beneficiaries were trained at the basic stage. The trainings conducted were mainly managerial skills training with focus on Entrepreneurship, Kaizen and financial literacy. The training was conducted in all three stages: the basic, intermediate and advance stage.
The intermediate stage commenced on 15th July, 2024 and ended on the 26th July, 2024. In all, 24 beneficiaries were trained at this stage.
The advanced stage commenced on the 5th of August and ended to 23rd August, 2024. Fourteen (14) beneficiaries were trained in the last stage.
Training sessions were graced by the Municipal Coordinating Director, Madam Lydia Akueteh and Madam Elizabeth Afriyie, the Municipal Education Director who took turns to encourage the beneficiaries to put into good use the skills they have acquired.
