Every business within the Akuapim South Municipality must obtain a Business Operating Permit (BOP).
A Business operating permit is a license that allows one to operate a business within the municipality.
In order for one to obtain a business operating permit, these are the processes to go through;
Write an application to the Assembly requesting for the permit. The application must contain, the name of the business, the name of the owner, the location of the business, the contact details and the Registrar General Business Certificate (if any).
The Assembly conducts an inspection of the business site. Appropriate fees are paid for approved applications.
The Assembly then issues a certificate for the business to start operation.
The Assembly makes it a point to deliver certificates to applicants who meets all requirement within one working day.
